FILM FESTIVAL
IndieCork
October 4th to October 11th in various venues. IndieCork.com
Over the past two and a half years, IndieCork has cemented its position as one of the key events in that city’s cultural calendar. This year, the jamboree, which begins on Sunday, will again screen a wide array of independent cinema and host busy talks and screenings.
The music programme has been greatly enhanced and foodies will be catered for (literally) with the “Film Feast” – a combination of market and cinema – at the Firkin Crane.
Irish movies screened include Paul Mercier's Pursuit, Rita-Marie Lawlor's The Last Show and Paul Rowley's The Participants.
