3G
JJ Smyths, Aungier st., 9pm, €10, jjsmyths.com

Bass-and-drum team Ronan and Conor Guilfoyle are intrepid explorers of the rhythmic jungle, and their book on complex rhythms has become a standard text for jazz musicians around the world. Now Ronan’s son, guitarist Chris, has joined the expedition and is already showing signs that even greater things may be ahead for the Dun Laoghaire dynasty. The faint-hearted should look elsewhere for entertainment tonight.
