Gael Linn’s monthly tea time concerts have grown a significant audience over the years, and this evening’s trio are typical of the high bar this session attracts. At First Light’s fiddler and piper, O’Connor and McSherry, have been a lightning rod to traditional music over many years, their vigorous interplay rendering long-forgotten tunes anew.

Singer Pádraigín Ní Uallacháin is an attentive curator of songs, whose solo albums have always sought to unveil something new. This is a rare chance to catch this trio performing together.
