CULT CLASSIC

Richard Thompson

Vicar St, Dublin 7.30pm €39.05 vicarstreet.ie

Richard Thompson (left), one of British music's most revered figures (and best-loved guitarists), has traversed the genres of folk, pop and rock so many times in his five-decade career (see the Jeff Tweedy- produced Still for the latest iteration), that you'd think there weren't any more configurations. In that, you'd be wrong, which is why every RT gig is different. He's a delightfully droll guy as well, so prepare to laugh between the serious songs.
