Students have returned to third-level education and we want to hear how they got on in the annual scramble for accommodation.

For many years, students have struggled to secure suitable accommodation, but the problem seems to be only getting more difficult.

If you’re a student, we would like you to contact us and share your experience: Did you find somewhere to live, what’s it like? Are you stuck doing a crazy commute every morning, sleeping on someone’s couch or sharing a bed? How do you cope with the cost of it all. Or have you had to defer the year altogether?

Get in touch! A selection of the submissions will be published in The Irish Times. If you would prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this in your submission — we will keep your name and contact details confidential.
