The queen of occasion wear, Marian Gale, has launched a new collection of handmade silk Communion dresses made to her own designs in Italy.
Lace-trimmed and beaded, the dresses are sold with the promise that they can be altered for a sister, cousin or friend at a later date, says Gale.
