The east coast of the US has been hit by a "bomb cyclone", experiencing powerful blizzards, frigid temperatures and coastal flooding amid an Arctic freeze which has gripped much of America for over a week, killing more than a dozen people.

If you are living in the US, Irish Times Abroad would like to hear from you about your experience of the storm. Can you describe the conditions where you live? Have you lost power, had to stay home from work, or witnessed any destruction? Is this the worst winter weather you have experienced?

To contribute, fill out the form above or email abroad@irishtimes.com. Please include a few lines about you - where you are from originally, where you live now and what you do there - and a photograph of yourself and/or the storm conditions if you have them.

A selection may be published as part of our reporting. Thank you.
