The great breakfast census

Baked beans divide opinion

As a nation, the Irish have strong feelings about breakfast, with a staggering 47 per cent of us saying that we don’t like baked beans coming into contact with our rashers, sausages and eggs. The Denny Breakfast Census, the results of which were released today, also reveals that 66 per cent of us eat a fry at least once at the weekend, and 62.4 per cent prefer their eggs to be fried. In response to the census results, the Ultimate Denny Breakfast Plate, on which beans and bacon never shall meet, is available to order at facebook.com/dennyest1820.
