Solicitors O'Rourke Reid are to sell their Georgian office building at 63 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, following their purchase of Pepper Canister House, at Mount Street Crecent. Joint agents Douglas Newman Good and Agar Estate are suggesting a guideline price of in excess of £1.25 million for the five-storey over basement building with 4,000 sq ft, which is to be auctioned on February 25th. There is car-parking at the rear for between seven and 10 cars. The painter, Francis Bacon, was born in the house which he described as "a grand Georgian house close to the Shelbourne and St Stephen's Green".
