IRISH Nationwide Building Society is to vacate a retail unit almost 12,000 square feet of offices in three buildings at the bottom of Dublin's Grafton Street. Gunne is inviting offers in excess of £60,000 for Number Ill which has a ground floor retail are of 868 square feet, a basement of 552 square feet and 2,810 square feet on the upper floors. The shop has been largely unused in recent years and because of its poor configuration is unlikely to be of interest to any of the big multiples looking for premises on the street. The entire building is rented at £57,500, a figure which is due to be reviewed next year. There is a further 9,329 square feet of offices on the upper floors of 112/113 which are rented at £7 per square foot. This rent is also due to be reviewed in 1998.
