Irish Nationwide Building is expected to secure in excess of £600,000 for a Georgian house at 22 Upper Fitzwilliam Street and a mews house at the rear with frontage on to Lad Lane, Dublin 2. The mid-terrace building, which needs upgrading, has four floors of offices and an apartment on the top floor. The three-storey mews building was completed five years ago and has 1,475 square feet of space, which is laid out as a four-bedroom apartment on the ground and first floors and a separate, selfcontained two-bedroom unit on the second floor. Willie Dowling of Gunne, who is to auction the property on October 2nd, said that because of the sharp pick-up in the Georgian market, the guide prices of £350,000 for the Georgian house and £250,000 for the mews may be exceeded on the day.
