ShopFront: You know how Armani likes everything to look, well, Armani?
That beige-y look is like a corporate stamp that stretches over everything which the company does, including the little bit of Armani-land that has arrived in the bed linen department of Brown Thomas.
It's not very big - just a corner in fact - but has the Armani-ness down pat.
The prices are expensive but, in fairness, this really is beautiful simple stuff if you want to pay €50 for pillowcases, €185 for a double flat sheet and €300 for a duvet cover.
The great thing about them is the fabric quality and colours - greys and blues are soft and washed out (in a good way of course).
The really special things are the blankets, throws and bedspreads, some of which cost over €2,000.
This one is kind of iridescent, with exaggerated stitching and soft wool backing and costs a paltry €1,350. Start saving - or, dare we say it, wait for the sale.
