In the late 1990s Property had to ditch a column showing properties under €100,000 because they were getting impossible to find, especially in Dublin.

There might be scope for a comeback, because the selection of properties asking for under that price seems to be increasing.

Currently on the market for €99,950 through Wilson Moore estate agents is 39 Annesley Avenue in Fairview, Dublin 2 , a two-bed house in need of complete renovation.

In Clondalkin a three-bed end of terrace on 79 Greenfort Road is asking €75,000.

A one-bed apartment in Parnell Street is asking €95,000 while a one-bed apartment in Tyrrellstown, Mulhuddart is €99,950.
