More than 540 of the 600 spaces allocated for a property seminar in Dublin next Wednesday have already been prebooked, according to one of the organisers, Sherry FitzGerald. The Foresight seminar, which takes place in the O'Reilly Hall, UCD, Belfield, will draw on extensive research to identify the challenges and opportunities developers, investors and occupiers will face in the future. Roadstone and The Irish Times are joint sponsors of the conference.

Marian Finnegan, an economist with Sherry FitzGerald, will deal with the issue of affordability in the Dublin residential market. Killian O'Higgins of Sherry FitzGerald is to identify the planning and rezoning opportunities in both the commercial and residential markets and will look at the supply implications arising from the Dublin docklands development. The third speaker, Gus MacAmhlaigh, manager of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority, will outline the critical issues relating to the draft blueprint for the future development of the docklands.
