Estate agents have six weeks to get in shape for the annual Chartered Surveyors Tennis Tournament which takes place at Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club on Wednesday, August 27th.

This year’s tournament introduces a new format – mixed doubles – and there will be also be a competition to judge the fastest serve.

Sponsored by The Irish Times since its inception 25 years ago, it will feature a few stalwarts who have been there since the beginning, including Ken McDonald of Hooke & MacDonald, Simon Ensor of Sherry FitzGerald, and Daphne Kaye.

Hooke & MacDonald and Sherry FitzGerald have each won the trophy seven times. Will either team find its inner Novak Djokovic or Serena Williams to lift the trophy for an eighth time? Scsi.ie
