There will be plenty of food for design thought and savvy decorating ideas on offer at Beacon South Quarter’s Design Fair in Dublin’s Sandyford this Saturday.

A panel of experts from a range of fields will be on hand to offer expert advice, including Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist, Diarmuid Gavin; green building giant Duncan Stewart; architect and design consultant Denise O'Connor of this newspaper and interior designer Philippa Buckley.

Hear the team discuss ideas at two sessions taking place at 1.30pm and 3.30pm. These will be followed by question and answer sessions where you can pose questions to each of the experts.

Those attending are encouraged to bring along house plans and photos to help illustrate any issues you wish to discuss. The panel will be more than happy to offer advice but be warned, expect to queue. For those bringing children it might be an idea to have another adult in tow.
