Several UK and Irish fashion multiples are likely to be interested in a chain of small stores which have come on the market through Hamilton Osborne King. The eight units currently trade as The Factory and are located in shopping centres and high streets around the country. The agents are quoting a guideline price of £275,000 for the leasehold interests in the stores, which range in size from 110 sq ft to 500 sq ft. They are to be sold either in one lot or on an individual basis. Three of the shops are in Dublin - one in The Square, one in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and one in Dun Laoghaire - two more are in Cork and there is one each in Waterford, Limerick and Galway. Larry Brennan of HOK describes the sale as "an usual opportunity to take over a network of shops in strong trading areas of the country".
