ICC Bank has entered into a joint venture agreement with Cork businessman Gerry Wycherley to develop 50 acres beside Cork airport. The land is zoned for industrial development and along with a number of other areas in the country was recently designated as an enterprise zone by the Government. Mr Wycherley's company, Omnistone Ltd, is to lodge a planning application for the site which could possibly accommodate up to 700,000 square feet. Six years ago, the site was earmarked for a "Euro Park" but the project never got off the ground. Mr Wycherley developed the Marina Commercial Park in Cork.
