A new rent level for a retail outlet has been set in Cork with the decision by Lets Talk Phones to pay £85,000 for a shop of 530 sq. ft at the junction of Patrick Street and Winthrop Street. The owner of the building, Richard Cudmore, is closing down his last Cudmore shop to capitalise on the strong letting market and to pursue alternative business interests. The Cudmore family have traded out of No 22 Patrick Street since the turn of the century. The acquisition will bring to 24 the number of shops operated by Lets Talk Phones.
Lisney acted for the new tenant and Jones Lang LaSalle advised the landlord.
