THE Honorable Garech Browne is looking for tenants for a house on his Luggala estate in Co Wicklow. He’s asking €3,500 per month for Cloghogue House, a four-bedroom house with its own grounds in the 6,000-acre demesne.

The 279sq m (3,000sq ft) house, which has been renovated to the tune of €1 million, is for rent through Dublin estate agency Norths Property.

Tenants will be allowed access throughout the estate which has some of the finest landscapes in Co Wicklow.

Access to Luggala’s private lakeside beach will be by separate arrangement, according to letting agent Nick Crawford.

Cloghogue House is accessed via the main gates of Luggala, positioned halfway between Roundwood and Enniskerry villages.

The property is being pitched at families seeking a distinctive home while the property market remains uncertain.

The house is available furnished and has three reception rooms and a large country-style kitchen.

The estate is also renting out a two-bedroom cottage which is available for holiday and short-term rents at €450 a week.
