M1 development Company has applied for permission for a warehouse and distribution development of nine units with a total floor space of 336,000 sq ft on the N1 outside Balbriggan, Co Dublin. The development is on a site of 26 acres with 313 parking spaces and access to the N1 at Rowan's Road.

Meanwhile, the owners of the popular Malahide restaurant, Crusso's, have applied for planning permission for a change of use from restaurant to restaurant and public house. They have also applied for the retention of external signs and the existing glazed entrance screen.
