After running Temple Bar Properties for almost a decade, Laura Magahy is moving to new pastures. Her new company, Magahy and Co, is to head the executive services team which will advise the Government on the proposed new £300 million national sports facility to be built at Abbotstown in north Dublin. She will be reporting to her old friend, Paddy Teahon, former secretary of the Department of the Taoiseach, who was on the board of Temple Bar for a few years. Also on the board is John Mulcahy of Jones Lang LaSalle, know more for his property skills than his sporting skills.
Ms Magahy is also advising the Sisters of Charity on the development of the £175 million Mater/Temple Street Hospital in Dublin.
