Location: 21-25 Sherrard Street Upper, Dublin 1. Proposed development: demolish SFX Centre for a five-storey apartment building that steps down to three-storeys on the southern boundary and to consist of 41 apartments (17 one-bedroom, 19 two-bedroom and five three-bedroom units) with underground car-parking for 41 cars. SOUTH DUBLIN - APPLICATIONS

Location: adjacent to Broadfield Manor, Tootenhill, Rathcoole, Co Dublin. Proposed development: residential scheme of two two-storey three-bedroom detached houses, 32 two-storey three-bedroom semis, 37 two-storey three-bedroom terraced houses, eight two-storey four-bedroom semis, 30 three-storey four-bedroom semis, 41 three-bedroom duplex units and 29 one-bedroom and six three-bedroom apartments in eight three-storey blocks, 12 one-bedroom apartments in two three-storey blocks, 36 two-bedroom apartments in two three-storey blocks totalling 233 dwellings and a two-storey crèche. Applicant: Cavan Developments.

Location: lands bounded generally by permitted development (Reg Ref SDZ04A/1) to east, and to north and west by future residential development within Adamstown Castle development area one, Finnstown and Adamstown, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 7,195sq m (77,446sq ft) of public park to serve the Adamstown Castle development area including tree and shrub planting, installation of paths and low walls, the provision of a children's play area of 332sq m (3,574sq ft) including play equipment and play surfacing, erection of railings surrounding the play area, installation of lighting and street furniture to include benches, bollards and other ancillary hard and soft landscaping. Location: Ancrum, Harolds Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. Proposed development: demolish dwelling and garage for 29 residential units in two, three, four and five-storey blocks comprising 19 two-bedroom and 18 one-bedroom units, one two-storey three-bedroom dwelling with private car-parking, 34 communal car-parking spaces and 28 bicycle stands. DECISION TO GRANT

Location: former Allegro site, Carmanhall Road/Blackthorn Avenue/Blackthorn Drive, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18. Proposed development: mixed-use development comprising the demolition of all structures on site for a mixed-use development comprising 847 residential apartments (142 one-bedroom units, 621 two-bedroom units, 76 three-bedroom units and eight four-bedroom units), neighbourhood retail shops and services/café restaurants, office accommodation, a crèche, community building and 39 live/work units, 1,716 car-parking spaces at basement and lower ground floor level. FINGAL - APPLICATIONS

Location: site at the junction of Ballymun Road and Santry Avenue, Ballymun, Dublin 9. Proposed development: demolish all existing structures on site for a mixed-use development arranged in five blocks ranging from four storeys to six storeys that will include a commercial and retail area comprising of a six-screen cinema, a children's activity centre, restaurant/bar, eight retail units, a crèche, health and fitness centre, provision of 237 apartments and 553 double level basement car-parking spaces, site development works and landscaping. Applicant: Genetic Developments Ltd.

Location: Dublin Airport, Collinstown, Co Dublin. Proposed development: alternative access route from the existing main terminal building to Pier D, to that for which planning permission has already been granted. The route will involve internal alterations to the existing link between the main terminal building and Pier A/Old Central Terminal Building (OCTB), the OCTB itself, which is a protected structure and the construction of a new high level walkway between the Old Central Terminal Building and Pier D. Work within the OCTB involves the creation of new arrivals and departure corridors in place of the existing gate lounges. Fabric of the original building is affected only in the reorientation of two small service shafts at ground floor level, the creation of an opening through the gable wall also at ground floor level and the installation of a new lift to serve the office floors, which are accessed from the landside.
