Planning permission is being sought for a new five-storey, 50,000 sq. ft office and apartment building linked to the former Harcourt Street Hospital, in Dublin 2. Permission is being sought on behalf of a company called Nesco Ltd for a mixed-use office and residential development with a glazed link between the proposed new five-storey building and the former hospital at Numbers 87-91 Harcourt Street. The applications also propose underground car-parking and access and egress points from Clonmel Street and Stable Lane. The existing buildings fronting on to Harcourt Street are listed and the application seeks to refurbish both for conversion to office and residential use.

Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown County Council has refused permission for the construction of 22 duplex units, 11 three-bed and 11 two-bed units in two three-storey blocks on the site of Mount Town Villa and Lyndhurst, on the Mounttown Town Road.

Fingal County Council has also refused permission for 355 two-storey houses with associated open space and site works at Laraghcon, Lucan. The application was by Shannon Homes. Kildare County Council has refused permission for 109 three-bedroom and four-bedroom houses at Dreenan, Derrinturn, Co Kildare, by a company called Wardara Ltd.
