Last Saturday’s Crosbie’s Yard viewing in Dublin’s Docklands is said to have had 60 parties queuing up, as Sherry FitzGerald’s new homes adviser Fiona Mulvey opened the gate and let them in.

There were so many questions from the 90 per cent investor crowd that she had “to don a microphone” to be heard above their many questions.

The main attraction unsurprisingly was the low prices. One-bedroom duplexes started from €95,000. So far 12 of the 20 have sold, and Mulvey says another set of interested parties viewed yesterday at lunchtime. The properties are on view again this Saturday from 1-2pm. Wear flat shoes is Fiona’s advice.
