ONE of Britain's largest suppliers of mobile phones, Carphone Warehouse, is to open its first Irish store in Dublin's Grafton Street. The company has paid a premium of £250,000 for the Marks & Spencer lingerie store at 30 Grafton Street, which has a total of 3,500 square feet of space on five floors including 850 square feet at street level. The premises are held under a 35-year lease at a rent of £105,000 per annum. Marks & Spencer took over the store three years ago when Ice fashions surrendered the lease. Hamilton Osborne King acted for Marks & Spencer and the Belfast agents McCombe Pierce acted for Carp hone Warehouse.
