AFTER bringing most of its administrative functions under one roof at George's Quay in Dublin, Ulster Bank is to embark on a Pounds 30 million headquarters building in Belfast.including two basement levels of car- parking. The main entrance will be through a listed portico of a former Methodist Church, which will be retained and incorporated into the development. Lambert Smith Hampton acted for McAleer & Rush, which is to design and build the headquarters. The bank plans to centralise its operations, which are scattered across 15 different locations.
