Voxan GTV 1200 due in 2009?French motorcycle manufacturer Voxan is working to get its new GTV 1200 into production and on the road for 2009. This would be the company's first Tourer and would line up alongside its current range of bikes including the Roadster, Café Racer, Scrambler, Black Magic and Charade.

Bayliss takes Phillip Island

Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox) romped away with both World Superbike races at Phillip Island in Australia last weekend, opening up an early lead in the Championship standings. Troy Corser (Yamaha Motor Italia) pushed hard to open up a lead over Bayliss in race two, but crashed early on, handing Bayliss the double.

BMW's Motorrad Academy is getting into gear for 2008. New riders can participate in a one-day starter course at Mondello Park Race Circuit on May 21st, September 17th or 18th. The €200 fee includes the motorcycle, equipment and professional tuition. BMW is also offering customers the chance to take part in a customer track day at Mondello on May 22nd.
