Ford has launched an update on the Mondeo range this week with the return of the Ghia badge and the addition of two new powertrains, including Ford's first direct-injection petrol engine.

It features a new 1.8-litre Duratec engine, as well as a high-performance 2.5i V6 Duratect. The Ghia range starts at €33,710 for the 1.8-litre model with six-speed transmission, while the 2.5i duratec automatic costs €41,410.
