PARKING'S FINE: A "parking ticket Santa" brought Christmas spirit to motorists in Birmingham by paying their fines.

Shoppers who got parking tickets returned to their cars to find £30 (€45) in cash and a Christmas card from the mystery benefactor stuck under their penalty charge notices.

FOCUS ON FORD: A specially adapted Ford Focus is being shown at Ford dealers as part of a roadshow aimed at disabled drivers who require adaptions to their cars. The specially equipped Ford Focus 'assessment' vehicle, has €20,000 worth of disabled driver aids and technology. Disabled drivers benefit from full relief on VRT and VAT.

Also Ford Ireland grants members of the Disabled Drivers Association a double fleet discount and three years roadside assistance.
