DUBLIN:

Reuben Street is closed between Pricewyse Stores and St James's Walk until April 17th, 2007 for Herberton Phase 2 Construction Works, part of the Fatima Regeneration Project.

The carriageway has been closed to traffic, although pedestrian access has continued. But pedestrian access will no longer be allowed through this portion of Reuben Street which will be fully incorporated into the building site.

Pedestrians are diverting from Reuben Street via newly constructed Reuben Walk to St James's Walk. However, remedial work is required to be carried out along this route and accordingly access for pedestrians will be maintained along the existing route at Reuben Street until these works have been completed. Pedestrians may also use the longer pedestrian route via Dolphin's Barn Street - Vauxhall Avenue - Rosary Road - Our Lady's Road to St James's Walk.

Traffic from Dolphin's Barn to St James's Walk is diverting via Marrowbone Lane or Rialto Street.

Vehicles travelling northbound along South Circular Road divert via Rialto Street to St James's Walk.

From 6am Saturday May 27th until 11pm on Sunday May 28th the southbound carriage of the M1 will be closed for Port Tunnel works, between its junctions with Coolock Off Slip and the Coolock On Slip. Expect delays.

Until 10am Monday, June 19th, part of Coolquay Rd (R130) will be closed. It will close between Mabestown Stream and N2, for works to upgrade the Mabestown Stream Culverts.

Local access maintained. Alternative routes will be in place.

On Saturday May 27th the Fingal Sprint Triathlon, with over 300 entrants, will take place at the National Aquatic Centre. Avoid the area around Snugboro Road, Ballycoolin and Blanchardstown Road North between noon and 3pm.

Until Sunday, July 9th, the Ashtown Rd is closed from the River Rd to Martin Savage Park. This is to facilitate road improvement works on a new development between Ashtown Level Crossing and River Rd including the construction of a new pedestrian bridge across the Royal Canal and bridge works at Longford Bridge.

The alternative routes available for diverted traffic during the course of the works are River Rd, Ratoath Rd, Nephin Rd, the N3 Navan Road and Dunsink Lane.

WEXFORD:

Until May 26th at 7pm, a section of the Courtown road is to close for road and bridge work on the new Gorey bypass. Diversion routes are sign posted.

CORK:

Hillgrove Lane will be closed today from 7am until 7pm, on Wednesday May 31st - alternative route will be available.

Also today and tomorrow you can expect delays because of works on the following:

Model Farm Road, 9.30am to 4pm, and Harbour View Road from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Expect delays today on Leitrim Street from 7.30pm to 11pm and Western Road from 7.30pm tonight until 2am tomorrow.

Tower Street will be closed today from 9.30am to 4pm.
