A guide to Rally Ireland for spectators

•Decide the special stages you want to see before travelling to the event.

•Special stages close to the public three hours before the first car is due - committed spectators will be in position by then.

•In many cases you may have to walk up to three kilometres to reach a viewing point, so allow plenty of time.

•Pick a special stage that is repeated, as you may be blocked in where you park - if the stage is repeated, you can stay to see the action twice.

•Spectators will not be allowed to walk on the stages after the passage of the first safety car.

•There will be clearly defined areas for spectators at the viewing points on the stages and spectators must stay within the defined areas.

•Remember the FIA safety officer will view the stages from a helicopter, and if he is unhappy with the location of spectators, he may recommend that the stage be cancelled. Please help the organisers to ensure this does not happen.
