Inspired by the Aero X Concept, which has been touring motor shows of late, Saab is apparently looking to give the 9-3 mid-size saloon and estate a new front-end with a bigger and somewhat more aggressive grille.
Like the flagship 9-5, we expect a bit of chrome in the grille and on the upper edges of the headlamps. The bumpers' front and rear will get a makeover, too. The aim is to give the 9-3 a more elegant look. We expect Saab to unveil the re-designed 9-3 this year, which also marks the 60th anniversary of the Swedish company, although it didn't start making cars until 1949.
