The fundraising collaboration between the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and the Simon Communities of Ireland allows homeowners to avail of expert architectural advice at a much reduced rate.
On Saturday, March 7th, participating architects from all around Ireland will open their offices to the public for a one-hour consultation in return for a €75 donation to Simon. This year the target is €50,000 – requiring fewer than 700 people to turn up on the day. The deadline for booking a consultation is noon on Wednesday, March 4th, and the easiest way to do so is to register online at www.simonopendoor.ie.
