Breffni Challenge, Arva, Co Cavan

The 10th annual Breffni Challenge takes place in Arva, Co Cavan on Saturday. Over the years, it has raised more than €800,000 for charity with funds this year being raised in aid of the Friends of St Luke’s Dublin, NBCRI Galway and Cavan/Monaghan Homecare Association. The Breffni Challenge 2012 will take place on Saturday, August 4th from Cavan to Arva. Participants can walk, jog, run and cycle the two distances: the 20km from Cavan to Arva, or the 13km Ballinagh to Arva. There’s more information at
