A 63 year old Co Wicklow woman who slipped on a soft drinks spillage on a DART train has been awarded £13,500 damages in Dublin Circuit Civil Court. Mrs Veronica Laffey, of Ballynoe Court, Kilbride Lane, Bray, told her counsel, Mr Mark de Blacam, she fell, injuring her back and knee, as soon as she stepped on the train at Sandycove two years ago.
