The Courtaulds lingerie plant at Portadown, Co Armagh, is to close with the loss of 137 jobs.
The manufacturing part of its base in Lancashire, England, where 115 people work, will also close. It has blamed the strength of sterling, increased competition, and the availability of cheaper imported products for its problems.
