London - Some 30,000 people descended on Trafalgar Square yesterday to commemorate Lord Krishna in what organisers said was the largest annual Hindu procession outside India.
The record crowd basked in the brilliant sunshine to mark the 5,000-year-old traditional Rath Yatra carnival, whose highlight was the pulling of a 50-ft chariot from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square.
