Islamabad - At least 38 people were killed and about 28 injured when two buses collided yesterday near the Pakistani city of Multan in Punjab province, police said.
A police official in Multan said the two speeding buses collided head-on about 40 km east of Multan. One bus was demolished, killing all 28 passengers and the driver, a local government official said. At least nine on the other bus died and about 28 were injured, some seriously, police said.
