4 die as yacht and barge collide

West Vancouver - At least four people died and one person was missing and feared drowned after a barge collided with a yacht crowded with passengers preparing to watch a fireworks show, authorities said yesterday. Fourteen people on the 44-foot yacht were thrown into the water when the yacht collided late on Saturday with a 300-foot barge being towed by a tugboat off West Vancouver, police said.
