A man in his 20s died after his car left the road near Bessbrook, Co Armagh, early yesterday morning. The accident happened on Newry Road, Belleeks, at about 3 a.m.
A 56-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Ballyclare, Co Antrim, on Saturday evening. He was struck by a motorcycle as he walked along Hillhead Road towards the town. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two men, both 19, were killed in separate car accidents at the weekend. Mr Noel Moynihan, of Ballydesmond, Co Cork, was a passenger in a car which gardai said went out of control on Saturday night near Ballydesmond. The car-driver was taken to hospital.
Mr Niall Mooney, of River Forest, Leixlip, Co Kildare, died when his motorcycle was in collision with a car on Saturday evening near Leixlip.
