More than 80 people received bravery awards for their conduct in the aftermath of the Omagh bomb at a ceremony in the town on Tuesday night.
Presenting certificates to people who worked with the RUC and ambulance services to tend to the dead and injured, the Chief Constable, Sir Ronnie Flanagan, said he was "full of appreciation and admiration" for the courage of many civilians who had helped out on August 15th of last year.
