Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams brief the party's ruling ardchomhairle in Dublin this afternoon on the St Andrews Agreement.

As part of the agreement, Sinn Féin is expected to call a special ardfheis to decide on whether to endorse the PSNI. However, it is not believed that today's ardchomhairle will organise the ardfheis.

Today's meeting is expected to focus on the detail of the agreement and how the party leadership will consult with republican grassroots on the proposals.

As part of the choreography surrounding the work on the St Andrews Agreement, Mr Adams will meet Church of Ireland bishops in Stormont on Monday for the first time including its primate, Archbishop Robin Eames.
