A suicide bomber blew himself up outside a mosque in northern Afghanistan today and wounded two people.

A suicide bomber blew himself up outside a mosque in northern Afghanistan today and wounded two people.

Uzbek warlord Abdul Rashid Dostum who was praying there at the time but was not hurt.

His spokesman claimed the attack was staged by "terrorists" - and that the suicide bomber approached worshippers as they left the mosque in Shibergan, Dostum's hometown and headquarters.
