Windhoek - The flight and voice recorders of a German air force aircraft that crashed off the Namibian coast after a mid-air collision with a US military aircraft more than 10 weeks ago have been recovered, officials said yesterday.

Nine servicemen on a US Air Force C-141 Starlifter and 23 people aboard a German Luftwaffe Tupolev transport aircraft died after a collision over the Atlantic in September.
