The angler who died in Lough Corrib yesterday afternoon has been named as Barry Quinn, aged 28, from Sixmilebridge in Co Clare.
Marine rescue divers recovered the body after Mr Quinn went missing on Lough Corrib in Co Galway yesterday.
It is understood Mr Quinn had been fishing with another angler on the lake when their boat drifted from a mooring post.
Mr Quinn is believed to have tried to swim after the boat to bring it ashore.

The Shannon-based coastguard helicopter and Valentia Marine Rescue were involved in the search operation.
