London - Disgraced British politician and novelist Lord Archer will not take the witness stand during his perjury trial at London's Old Bailey courthouse, his lawyer said yesterday.
The former Conservative Party deputy chairman denies four counts of perverting the court of justice, two of perjury and one of producing a false document, all relating to a libel trial which he won against a newspaper in 1987.
