A substantial sum of money was taken today during an armed robbery of security firm employees outside a Credit Union in Belfast.
The men approached the driver of the security van and a Credit Union employee outside the offices at Duncairn Gardens in north Belfast shortly before 10.30am.
The workers were threatened with a knife before the robbers got away in a blue Peugeot 206 car with the cash box - which is believed to contain thousands of pounds.
The car was reported abandoned a short time later at Velsheda Court in the city.

Officers at Antrim Road station appealed for anyon with information or who was in the Duncairn Gardens area around the time to contact them.
