Despite the gruesome cold on Wednesday night, a fair whack of artists and art-lovers turned up to the opening of Kathy Herbert and Tim Johnson's exhibition in the Temple Bar Gallery. It was all a slight feeling of deja vu for the pair as they have already opened the same exhibition in Belfast, Dumfries, and Cork. Noelle Campbell Sharpe of the recently opened Origin Gallery chatted to Tim about his forthcoming trip to the Cill Rialaig centre in Kerry. The artists' retreat has received much media attention from across the water recently, with the BBC the latest to make inquiries.

Other opening nighters were artists Rachel Ballagh, Nikki Purcell and David McDermott, whose work will soon be displayed on the walls of Meeting House Square as part of the Outdoor Images series, and jewellery designer and sculptor Melissa Curry.
