At least 13 people were killed last night in a clash between inmates at a prison in Honduras, an official said.
One person was also wounded by gunfire in the fight at a high-security wing of a national penitentiary 20 kilometres north of the capital city, national prison chief Jaime Banegas said.
He said the clash was later brought under control.
